Might and Magic Heroes VI – How Many Heroes To Play With
I started playing Heroes in a strange way. I as was very young, I started double-clicking on any Heroes II icon I could find in my first computer. The first one that popped out was the editor mode, so I started editing. My favorite part of editing maps was hero adding.
I used to line them up like in a derby, twelve at a time, all wearing the same flag, all of them starting at the same line, with mobs of creatures to both sides of the race like the audience in a hypodrome. Where am I getting at, you say.
Well, after I got bored of editing, I started the actual game. I used to hire at least on Hero a week and crowd the map. That was wrong. Then I narrowed it down to four, maybe five heroes. That was wrong too.
In a campaign mode you one need your main hero, because it is useless to divide the XP gathered on the way in two, to have to share artifacts so that both of them could stand up and fight anyone, to have to split armies, making them vulnerable.
So consider your strategy well when you play skirmish. If you decide on more than one hero be careful how you make them grow and gather XP, because when the war comes, any battle might come to the last mana points and core units, so every extra level counts.
